Optional Field Visits

There will be optional field visits to different districts (hosted by different organizations/institutions on 19th & 20th September. Participants may sign up to these if they wish (there will be an extra charge for these).

 

OPTIONAL FIELD VISITS

On behalf of the workshop secretariat we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to see more of Nepal and to visit and talk with more community forestry groups by participating in optional field visits after the end of the CF International Workshop.

Depending on the number of participants – we are offering a choice of 2 (possibly more) itineraries.

If you are interested, please sign up for the trip of your choice with the secretariat during the workshop so we can finalise details of the arrangements. There will be a charge for these trips to cover actual expenses.

Travel for all the trips will be mainly by micro-bus. The trips will all leave Pokhara on the morning of 19th September and you will get back to Kathmandu on 21st afternoon/evening.

Approximate cost for all these trips is NRS 6,500 per person. This includes transport, accommodation and meals (not drinks). Actual costs will depend on number of participants.
